Flood Aid For Anderson
A Community Benefit for Flood Recovery
Flood Aid for Anderson is a community-wide fundraising initiative led by Gary and Darla Sallee in partnership with the City of Anderson, Anderson Indiana Main Street, and several local organizations and community leaders.
The initiative will provide direct financial assistance to Anderson residents and businesses impacted by the recent historic flooding, culminating in a benefit concert on Sunday, August 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the Anderson Gaslight Festival.
The event will feature live music, special guests, and fundraising efforts throughout the week.
One hundred percent of proceeds will go directly to Anderson residents and businesses in need.
The mission of the Anderson Gaslight Festival is to create and honor our community’s history while fostering unity and a shared sense of belonging among its patrons. Through the Anderson Gaslight Festival, we aim to cultivate affection and appreciation for Anderson’s past, present, and future, bringing people together to create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive.

From 1973-2004, the Anderson Gaslight Festival celebrated the Victorian Gasboom era and the architectural heritage with which our Victorian predecessors enriched our lives.
